- Logistics Data: Shipment details, load requests, and driver information shared during operations.
- Location Data: Roadoz collects precise GPS location from the mobile app when a driver or truck owner has an active / in-transit shipment. Location may be collected in the background, including when the app is closed or not in use, so the shipment can continue to be tracked. Location is collected only for that tracking purpose, not continuously for marketing or ads.
- Technical Data: Browser type, device information, and IP address to improve platform performance.
How We Use Your Information
- To process load requests and manage deliveries.
- To provide live shipment tracking for manufacturers, truck owners, and related parties on that load. Tracking starts after loading is completed / the shipment is in transit and stops when the destination is reached or delivery is completed.
- To ensure role-based access for secure workflows.
- To improve our digital logistics ecosystem.
Sharing of Data
We may share your information with:
- Relevant parties on that shipment (e.g. manufacturer / truck owner) for live tracking.
- Trusted third-party service providers needed to run maps and tracking (e.g., GPS / map providers, payment processors).
- Legal authorities if required by law.
We do not sell or rent your personal data, including location data.
Security
We use encryption, role-based access, and monitoring to protect sensitive shipment and user data.
Your Rights & Controls
- Access, update, or request deletion of your personal data.
- Request account deletion for the Roadoz mobile app via our Delete Account page.
- Opt out of non-essential communications anytime.
- Deny or revoke location access (including background location) in your device settings. Without background location, live tracking for active shipments may not work.
